New Partners for the BeNeLux Market.

add on dmc is happy to announce that we’ve joined the DMC Collection by Ria Mooijaart & Partners for the BeNeLux market.

Ria Mooijaart has worked in the hospitality industry for many years and has gained a lot of destination knowledge by travelling around the world and by meeting people who shared their stories about the most fascinating destinations visited or used for MICE purposes.

Today, her company serves as a liaison between MICE planners and add on dmc acting as both a consultancy and an extension of all teams involved in each project. On the Benelux MICE market Ria Mooijaart & Partners has built a solid reputation for the quality of her sales blitzes, the inspirational trips, the MICE summer events and ad hoc presentations for key players in the market.

CULINARY DELIGHTS

A treat for the senses.

The smell of fresh asparagus for the first time in the year tells us that spring has finally arrived.

For a delicious “Asparagus with Sauce Hollandaise” for 4 persons, just peel 2 kg of white asparagus and cut off the ends of the stalks. Let the peels boil in water and season with salt, sugar, and the juice of one lemon. Let it steep for 20 minutes and then strain through a fine sieve. Put the peeled asparagus in the asparagus stock and slowly simmer for 15–20 minutes or let them steep until the asparagus is still slightly firm to the bite. In the meantime, scrub 700 g of potatoes and cook in salted water for about 30 minutes, then drain.

Put 3 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar, a pinch of salt, and 2 tablespoons of crème fraîche in a tall container and puree until smooth with a hand blender. Bring 125 g of butter to the boil briefly, pour slowly into the container while running the hand blender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve the asparagus and potatoes immediately with the hollandaise sauce. And now enjoy – ideally with one of the delicious white wines from the Rhine Valley!

One of the most beautiful regions in Germany is the Middle Rhine Valley (Rheintal), an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The valley, close to Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, and Mainz and the crown jewel among the German wine-tourism regions, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and is one of the sunniest regions in Germany. During the month of May you can see beautiful yellow rapeseed fields everywhere in the region.

Thanks to its many castles and historic towns, this stretch of the Rhine has influenced artists, authors, and composers for centuries. These days, it’s as popular among day-trippers as it is with those staying for longer visits, with opportunities for river excursions, hiking, or cycling, for adrenaline activities, for culinary tastings and cooking classes, for trips to vineyards, and also for meetings due to high-level conference locations such as the Rhein-Main Congress Center (RMCC).

People whose favorite color is yellow always feel the urge to do a little more – so they always look forward to what the next day will bring. So we would like to invite you to discover a little more about our beautiful country – some traditions, some interesting facts – and definitely some regions worth visiting. At the moment all the rapeseed fields are in brush yellow color. Just come over and see how beautiful it is.
